Let’s say you are in charge of prioritizing campus physical improvements. How would you spend a limited amount of money (say $500,000) to improve some physical aspect of the campus?

The K-State Marching Band and many intramural sports and clubs including lacrosse, soccer and rugby teams use this field. The current field has taken a beating and it is time to replace it in my opinion. First, drainage in and around the field needs to be improved to improve safety. A durable turf field should be installed as it will be used on a regular basis. Also more permanent field line should be painted on the field. Many times during the course of Marching Band season, the field lines become very faint. When they get repainted we run into problems with inaccurate or curved lines, which is a big issue for a marching band.
