It always amazed me that as an Ag school as it's roots the grass areas all around campus look bad. I got the point students create paths that make dirt/mud paths that sometimes become sidewalks. But in general there are a variety of grasses that could be planted that looks a whole lot better with little maintence. Shoddy area with little to no grass looks bad. All area should don't have to look like carpet but they should look healthy and good looking.
