When I used to ride an electric scooter (moped) to campus, it would have been nice if there was a place to plug it in to recharge it. As it was, I had to hang an extension cord out the window or even roll it into the building. Most small electric vehicles like this do not draw very much power to do the trickle-charge. It probably makes the most sense to put them near bike racks.
