Prof. Lee Skabelund has been experimenting with a green roof on one of the roofs on Seaton Hall. It is only accessible to the students doing the experiments however. Installing green roofs on larger roofs around campus would give staff and students a great place to take lunch, catch some rays, or read a book outside on campus without the distracting foot traffic you get on the ground. Some roofs could also be utilized in crop/plant cultivation for those programs. The produce then sold or used right here on campus! I know McCain has a large flat roof, are there any other buildings that this would be suitable with? Engineering Complex? Derby?
