If we block traffic on mid-campus drive from Lovers Lane to Old Claflin Road, it would greatly increase the beauty of the space and create a much more welcoming feel. As it is, the few cars that travel through there take up most of the space, create unwanted noise, and make everybody a little tense as we all cling to the narrow sidewalks on either side. Pedestrians far outnumber cars through here, yet cars receive more of the space. Blocking the road would do the following: |
