The University is constantly improving through capital investments that are large and small, visible and unseen. For example, the recent renovation of Willard Hall is a very visible capital investment to improve the campus while replacing the central campus steam lines underground is equally important but much less visible. Other investments can be small such as landscape improvements to a campus quad or the addition of campus directional signage. All of these investments must be prioritized and budgeted on an annual basis. Note: you cannot spend the money on salaries, programs, conference attendance, etc. The money must be spent physical aspects of the campus such as new or renovated buildings, improving the grounds, implementing transportation, sustainability initiatives, etc. |
